More Good Stuff

The water is still cold, but it's finally warm enough to swim for more than 5 minutes! Plus, the weather is warmer outside, so it helps.

"Fishing"

Dinner with Rylee and Corban, Fischer's two favorite pals!

Here Fischer was talking to Papa on the phone...he thinks Papa can see everything he's doing!

Singing "The B-I-B-L-E"...at first he refused, but then sang along.

Same song again, but this time he complied...notice he's saying "Cheese Mama" at the beginning when he notices the camera.

Big Boy Bed and New House Stuff

We finally turned Fischer's crib into a toddler bed...he loved it!

He made both daddy and me try it out with him :)

Fischer's monster-themed bathroom is almost complete...just a few minor things still needed.

I painted this picture to match the monster bathroom decor we found at Target.

Here's the monster decor from Target...I love the toothbrush holder!

I've been working on my bathroom too...these are bronze, even though they look black in the picture.
The door to the bathroom is at a difficult angle to get a picture of the whole room at once, so here's the shower curtain...it's brown micro-suede.
A poor attempt at trying to get the rest of the bathroom in the picture...here's the brown rug.
Since most of the bathroom is now brown and white, I used the towels to put color into it. Here are the six I chose...in real life color they are grey, wine red, smokey blue, brown, green, and rusty orange.
Here's the newly refurbished chair Bee got me for my birthday. She found a sturdy but old wing-back chair and I picked out the fabric to have it re-upholstered. It looks great and is quite comfy!

A Really Fun Sunday

Fischer's favorite activity at Grandma and Grandpa's house...he jumped so much that he came home with blisters under his toes!

Playing with the water hose on the trampoline with daddy...what could be more fun?

A nice cool drink!

Fischer was enjoying soaking his feet in the cold water while daddy helped Uncle Solomon into the pool.

Daddy's turn!

Mommy finally let him in...but it's still so cold he made daddy hold him out of the water!

They only lasted about 5 minutes in the 72 degree water...then it was time for a picnic supper!

Other Stuff from April

I was trying to get a little rest...Fischer decided I made a good seat.

At Caleb's t-ball game at "The Miracle Field"

Great hit Caleb!

Fischer was feeding mini M-n-M's to his dragons.

Fischer and Daddy playing at Jump for Joy!

Dustin used to play the Beatles for Fischer when he was fussy as a baby, which always calmed him down. A few weeks ago, when I went to the Beth Moore simulcast, Dustin played the Beatles while he cleaned up the house and Fischer watched TV. It must have triggered something in his brain from when he was a baby, because he fell right asleep at 10:30 in the morning! (he never does that!).

Camp Doris

Here's some pictures from our weekend camping trip to Camp Doris in the Wichita Mountains of Oklahoma...the trip was good, but would have been a lot better if it hadn't rained the whole time!

Deer walking through the campsite when we arrived.

Fischer tried to catch it.

Patrick cooking burgers over the campfire in the rain.

Playing "sandcastle" in the dirt.

Filling the dump truck with dirt...every little boy's dream!

A muddy mess, and loving it!

Fischer stole the umbrella from us...he could barely hold it up!

Hanging out in the hammock under the canopy.

This isn't a great picture of the buffalo, out the truck window in the rain, but it's the best I got on the trip.

A view of the Wichita Mountains out the truck window.

Baby Blob

Here are the first sonogram pictures of Baby Henry #2! The due date is Dec. 6 with a scheduled delivery 7-10 days before...so sometime right after Thanksgiving! I was 9 weeks, 2 days on the calender, and baby measured exactly 9 weeks and had a very strong heartbeat. Everything looked great!

This one just looks like a blob, except for the gigantic head (on the bottom).

Here you can actually see the little legs and arms that have formed already...baby is still head down in this one...and baby wiggled around for us too!
