Christmas!

Here are some pictures of Fischer's 2nd Christmas - yep, 2nd...most people forget that he was 4 days old on his first Christmas! But this was the first really fun one with him, since he can walk and play and laugh. We had a great day!

Christmas Sunday in front of the tree at our house.

Daddy helped Fischer open his stocking.

What a mess! If you see on the floor, daddy got mommy Guitar Hero Aerosmith, and Fischer got his own little guitar too!

We got more presents and made an even bigger mess at Nana's house!

These are two of his favorite presents: a busy zoo cube and a lawn mower.

Great-Grandad came to visit (he's in a nursing home)...Fischer was a little shy around him.

At the end of the day, he was back to his good 'ol yard sale toys...Look what I can do!!

Grandma - This Is For You!

Da-Da-Da!!!

(There's a story behind this of when daddy was little - Grandma should be laughing now...the rest of you just enjoy the video).

I AM ONE!!

Fischer turned 1 on Sunday, Dec. 21st! We had his birthday party on Saturday, the 20th. It was a puppy party! Since the weather is so nice here in Florida right now, we had it outside in Nana and Papa's front yard. Fischer didn't fuss one single time...he just wanted to play and eat! Here are some pictures from the day (videos are at the end):

Fischer had to try out his new slide from Nana and Papa before the big day!

We had a pool of balls - it was the big hit of the day!

Everyone enjoying their lunch.

Group photo! Eva is in the stroller, Audrey & Robby in the fort, Nolan on the slide, Annabelle and Fischer on the ground (look at Annabelle posing!!).

Opening presents! Fischer never left the presents while we opened them...he wouldn't tear the paper, but he wanted to hold every toy that was opened!

Cake and cookies (I made the cookies! Publix made the cake)

Another group shot! From left: Nolan, Fischer, Audrey, Robby, Annabelle

Eva wearing her party hat! (she missed the second group shot)

Testing the cake.

That's pretty tasty!!

Family photo in the aftermath!

What a mess! But it was yummy and I had a great party!
Here's Fischer's cake video...I had to cut it a little short so it would go on the blog easier, but you can still see what fun he had!

This video is noisy, but if you listen closely, you can hear Fischer saying "oooo" about his presents!

Cute Stuff

Nana bought some balls to put in the blow-up pool for Fischer's b-day party...here he is playing with them before hand:

Fischer has learned to make car noises...listen closely and you'll hear them while he's playing with toy cars (sorry it's so dark).

Happy Birthday Cousin Emily!

We hope you have a very special birthday! We miss you and wish you could be here Saturday for the party. We love you!!

Santa!!

Fischer wasn't too sure about Santa...he didn't scream, but he wasn't happy either! It's cute anyway! Notice - only one shoe :)

Christmas is Coming!

There's a large church in Lakeland that puts on a huge Christmas display every year (for free!), so we took Fischer Friday night. It starts with all the kid's stuff about Christmas - Santa Clause, reindeer, gingerbread men, snow queens, the Grinch, etc. Next you get free refreshments - cookies and hot cocoa. Finally it ends in a walk-through-Bethlehem...a whole town set up with live animals (donkeys, goats, camels) and tons of people (census takers, basket weavers, chicken sellers). Finally it ends with the live Nativity. It's a lot of fun to go to each year! We didn't take any pictures in Bethlehem, but here are some of the fun ones from the beginning:

Fischer liked the life-sized reindeer.

He's reaching for the snow! (It's just bubbles -it's Florida!)

A silly picture :)

He wasn't sure about the Grinch - he wasn't really afraid, but he wouldn't let the Grinch touch him either.

Merry Christmas to all of you - from all of us!

No Longer a Chipmunk - He's Now a CopyCat!

Just Havin' Fun!

Shaving with daddy!

Is that Davey Crockett??

Mommy was sick and daddy was working late, so Nana and Papa took me to Firehouse subs...I had a blast!

Look at how he likes to lounge in the tub - he does this every night! He just lays back, grabs a toy to chew on, and soaks in the warm water.

Playing in the lights at the park downtown!

Papa made mommy a sleigh just like the one she and Auntie played in when they were little - I had to try it out!

I decided I could push it myself - I don't need help!

Thanksgiving - Texas Style

We spent Thanksgiving in Wichita Falls with Dustin's family. We had a great time that week catching up with everyone and showing off all that Fischer could do. Here's some pics from the week:

My first Thanksgiving!

Everyone gathered around the table - Grandma, Grandpa, Solomon, Patrick, daddy, the back of my head, and mommy's taking the picture.

Basketball is fun!

And tiring too - time for a break!

My first Christmas present!

It's a horsey - thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

As usual, the box is more fun!!

Thank you Great - MawMaw and PawPaw for my bear - I love how his tummy lights up when he sings! (Fischer's a techy like his daddy)

4 generations of Henry men: Grandpa Jack, Uncle Patrick, Daddy, me, and Great-PawPaw (Grandpa Jack's dad).
