Colorado Springs Part 2 - Garden of the Gods

On Friday we went to Garden of the Gods. It's a place within the Rockies with lots of giant rock formations. We didn't stop at the Nature center, so I don't really know any of the geological stuff about the rocks, but they sure were pretty to look at! To give an idea of the size, here's a picture of Dustin and Fischer in front of one of them: And me with Fischer: This is the beginning of the rock we were standing in front of...I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture. A pretty scene out the car windshield: A view of Pike's Peak from the Garden. This is Balancing Rock...I think you can tell how it got it's name. The four of us are standing in front: Fischer being cute :) Dustin took Fischer for a walk up the "mountain" by Balancing Rock...Fischer took off climbing as fast as he could...Dustin had to rush to catch up!
