Colorado Springs Part 2 - Garden of the Gods

On Friday we went to Garden of the Gods. It's a place within the Rockies with lots of giant rock formations. We didn't stop at the Nature center, so I don't really know any of the geological stuff about the rocks, but they sure were pretty to look at! To give an idea of the size, here's a picture of Dustin and Fischer in front of one of them: And me with Fischer: This is the beginning of the rock we were standing in front of...I couldn't get the whole thing in the picture. A pretty scene out the car windshield: A view of Pike's Peak from the Garden. This is Balancing Rock...I think you can tell how it got it's name. The four of us are standing in front: Fischer being cute :) Dustin took Fischer for a walk up the "mountain" by Balancing Rock...Fischer took off climbing as fast as he could...Dustin had to rush to catch up! Colorado Springs Part 1

Dustin was sent to Colorado Springs the second week of March for business...this time, Fischer, Owen and I tagged along. During the week I took the boys to little places to play, like Focus on the Family and the play area inside the mall. Then we stayed Friday and Saturday to have some fun with daddy too (those pics to come later). Here's the first set of pictures:

Monster Jam is coming to town, and the Grave Digger made an appearance at Advanced Auto Parts Thursday...so we HAD to take Fischer to see, of course.

If you can't see it, that is Fischer's Grave Digger he is rolling inside the real Grave Digger's tire.
